US Citizens can visit Portugal without a Visa for up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for at least 90 days after your planned return. We suggest visiting the State Department or the IATA Travel Centre for additional guidelines and exact details.

We suggest arriving by the morning of the first day of the tour and departing after 5pm the last day of the tour. Should you like to arrive earlier or stay later, we can help arrange additional accommodations and provide recommendations for your extended stay.

The minimum group size is 4 pickleball players, maximum group size of 8. We want to ensure the quality of the trip and provide personalized service.

To ensure competitive play and enjoyment, players should be able to play at the intermediate-beginner level. We encourage groups to have approximately the same skill level when booking.

Space is limited so we suggest confirming as soon as possible. Because of the nature of the trip and the structure of play, we are limited to just 8 pickleball playing guests. All reservations are first come, first serve.

Your 50% deposit will be non-refundable at the time of booking and confirmation.

The 50% final that is due 30 days prior to travel will not be refunded within the 30 day period.

Yes, we will allow substitutions up to two weeks before the trip. It’s up to you, as the booking guest, to find someone to take your spot. We are unable to find substitutions for you.

We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions. Please let us know when booking so we can properly communicate your needs to the hotels and restaurants in advance. Please advise of any allergies.

It’s important to contact your carrier before departing the United States to see what kind of plan and coverage you will have in Portugal. Many carriers will charge you a daily fee which can add up quickly.

An alternative is to purchase an eSIM card to use while in Portugal. It’s pretty straightforward (a simple download and some settings adjustments) and easy to activate with the step-by-step instructions. We recommend Airalo and have used them in the past. You’ll need to make sure your phone is “unlocked” and you have access to the SIM if it’s a company owned phone, etc. It’s important to do this before you leave the US.

Yes, our hotels will have WiFi available and included in your package. Many public spaces, restaurants and cafes offer free WiFi as well.

Portugal has a great healthcare system and world class doctors and facilities. Each of the properties where we will be staying has a doctor on call as well as a hospital within 20 minutes.
